NEW - 2017 Annual Meeting & Postgraduate Course Call for Postgraduate Course Proposals

SGS is inviting proposals for postgraduate (PG) courses to be held during the 2017 SGS Annual Scientific Meeting in San Antonio Hill Country, Texas. These courses will be held on Sunday, March 26th. There will be three (3) to four (4) concurrent courses. The primary criteria for selection are: anticipated level of topic interest, the needs assessment/gap analysis, and the expertise of the proposed speakers. The theme of the overall meeting is “Mentorship in Surgery, Education and Research”. Half day courses may be proposed.

Each PG faculty will be provided one night hotel room. There is no additional travel reimbursement or honorarium offered. If any travel expense or honorarium is required for non-members, this requirement should be included in the PG Course proposal.

PG courses provide a platform for concise didactic lectures and audience discussions on hot topics and professional development. Below are the guidelines, instructions and important dates for the Call for Postgraduate Course Proposal process.
