The CoRPS was started by former members of the FPRN® who were looking to do collaborative multi-center research.  For more than 5 years, they successfully completed many multi-center studies and currently lead a Challenging Case Series in the Blue Journal. Now, the CoRPS has found a more permanent home in SGS and a fund has been created to support it.  This fund was established in honor of Drs. Kenton, Iglesia and Richter, who have been involved in the CoRPS as mentors from the beginning.  The CoRPS is open to all SGS members and nonmembers who would like to participate in multi-center research in all subspecialties focused on gynecologic surgery. All career levels are welcome, particularly early and mid-career attendings.

The next meeting of the CoRPS will be Wednesday, November 18 at 8 pm Eastern Time. More information will be coming soon.

If you are interested in submitting a CONCEPT PROPOSAL for consideration for the November meeting please submit a short (less than 3 page) written summary of a research idea by Monday, October 19. See example of the format here and upload your document to HERE.

If you have questions about submitting a CONCEPT PROPOSAL please reach out to us anytime. Our hope is that CoRPS researchers feel supported at every step of the process and this includes helping you with a mentor from our advisory board to help prepare a CONCEPT PROPOSAL if you would like one.
