Simulation Advisory Service for SGS Members

The SGS Education Committee offers an advisory service for SGS members interested in education via simulation. This service is provided by a core group faculty who specialize in education via simulation, have experience on many topics related to simulation, and who have collaborated on multiple projects (such as conducting simulations, teaching post-graduate courses, publications, and research).

Simulation Advisory Service faculty will make themselves available to any SGS member to answer questions and assist with simulation development and implementation with the goal of programmatic sharing and development.

Some examples of what we can assist with:

  • helping design and implement simulations
  • developing simulation curricula and programs
  • professional development
  • how to get started, get buy-in, build programs, and publish
  • how to interface leadership and quality committees

If you wish to take advantage of this new service, please email Dr. Veronica Lerner ([email protected]) with a brief description of your request. After a brief intake, you will receive suggestions of faculty you can consider working with. Faculty and members will decide what type of interaction (email, Zoom calls, phone calls, etc.) works best for them. This service is free of charge and available to SGS members.
