Barbara Levy, MD is the Vice President, Health Policy at American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). She has over 25 years of experience with direct care, research, and physician training.  Dr. Levy oversees ACOG’s Advocacy division which is responsible for a spectrum of activities and initiatives concentrated on supporting health care members and improving safety and quality in women’s health in the United States and worldwide.  Dr. Levy is also experienced in leading initiatives in international and domestic health, corporate social responsibility, public-private partnerships, government relations, and advocacy.  Prior to ACOG, Dr. Levy was in private practice and medical director of Women’s Health and Breast Center and Women’s and Children’s Services for the Franciscan Health System in Tacoma, WA.
