Change in New Member Application Process

SGS has implemented a change to the new member application process. The initial step in the new member process now begins with the PROPOSER, an SGS member in good standing. The PROPOSER must submit their letter of support along with the letter of support from the ENDORSER via the “Propose a New Member” link under the subject MEMBERSHIP on the top navigation of the SGS website. After the support letters are received, SGS will send the NEW MEMBER APPLICATION FORM to the proposed new member. With this change, all required new member information will be received by the SGS Membership Committee at the time the applicant submits their application. This will expedite the review process which will in turn lead to more efficient SGS membership approval process.

 SGS 41st Annual Scientific Meeting

Society of Gynecologic Surgeons 41st Annual Scientific Meeting registration is NOW OPEN. Dr. Charles Rardin and the SGS Program Committee have put together an exciting program for the scientific meeting, postgraduate courses and video sessions. The scientific sessions and social program, as always, provide a unique opportunity to collaborate with old friends and meet new ones, and the attractions of the Orlando area beckon. We look forward to seeing you in Orlando in 2015, as we all become Lifelong Learners, so that we can continue to provide the best surgical care to our patients.

The Society of Gynecologic Surgeons (SGS) announced the launch of a fund development program to support the SGS mission at the 2014 SGS Annual Scientific Meeting. SHARE initiatives will be prominent during the upcoming 2015 Annual Scientific Meeting. We hope that you will SHARE while registering for the meeting and that everyone will consider supporting the SGS mission by attending its 2nd annual fund development reception, "Mojito Night in the Caribbean" on Tuesday evening of the meeting. It will provide a fun time for networking and giving back to SGS and other surprises!
