Objectives - After Attending This Program You Should Be Able To

  1. Formulate and practice techniques to optimize minimally invasive approach to hysterectomy including trans-vaginal hysterectomy.

  2.  Identify and discuss the surgical anatomy of the pelvis as it relates to gynecologic surgery, as well as the biomechanics of pelvic support and continence.

  3. Formulate clinical algorithms in diagnosis and treatment management of patients with stress urinary incontinence.

  4. Describe indications and set up for office hysteroscopy and understand how to apply the “no touch” vaginoscopic technique.

  5. Assimilate new techniques for teaching gynecologic surgery including surgical coaching principles.
